In October and November, 2007, RCR backed legendary KISS front man Gene Simmons as part of his hit reality TV show "Family Jewels." We recorded at the old A&M studios in Hollywood and shot a special live performance with Gene in Las Vegas. The double episode featuring RCR is slated to air in April, 2008. More details once the exact air date is finalized.

DG will be the Special Guest at Drummer's Recording Seminar - April 22nd
I will be the special guest drummer at the Drummer's Recording Seminar, hosted by Mark Schulman, drummer with Velvet Revolver, Billy Idol, Cher, Foreigner, Stevie Nicks, Pink, Sheryl Crow and many others. This full day intensive seminar - held at Mark's studio in Venice, CA - is open to drummers of all ages and levels; it's a hands-on experience that will teach you the "how-to's" of pro studio drumming.

Mark is a veteran drummer, engineer and producer - his seminar will give you a detailed breakdown of studio drumming techniques, an easy understanding of drum tuning, sizes, and heads, and a lesson on how to talk to producers and engineers to get better results and more gigs!

Because of the small class size, you are guranteed to get a great deal of actual recording time, and a personalized analysis of your playing! At the end of the day, you will walk out with a CD recording of your playing before and after!

Of course, I will be there too, providing a lot of tips about working with vintage drums and getting that cool "vintage sound" that is so desirable in today's recording industry.

There are only a few slots remaining, so if you are interested in this once in a lifetime opportunity, please check out the website ASAP: http://www.drummersrecording.com

Chicago Vintage Drum Show Appearance - May 20-21, 2006
I have been invited to appear as a featured clinician at the 16th Annual Chicago Vintage and Custom Drum Show, coming up on the weekend of May 20-21. This is the largest and oldest vintage drum show in the world, and it is a HUGE honor for me to have the opportunity to share some of the knowledge I've gained over the last ten years doing research and interviews.
