I teach privately in both Manhattan, New York and the Silverlake neighborhood of Los Angeles.

If you can't get to either of those locations, I teach via Skype as well. All you need is a high speed internet connection and a camera for your computer and we can make it happen.

Many students come to me to study blues, swing and jazz, but I also have a wealth of exerience in the realms of rock, funk and latin, as well as reading and hand technique.

Freddie Gruber has been my teacher and mentor since 1992, and every lesson is guaranteed to accompany a healthy dose of drum wisdom as imparted to me by Freddie himself.

I'm a serious, passionate teacher, and my goal is to pass that enthusiasm on to my students. Regardless of the material we may be studying, I always emphasize practicalities, goal setting and creating your own vision. I'm interested in giving you the ability to walk into any gig and own it.

I'm also happy to do "one-offs," or a shorter series of lessons for drummers visiting the L.A. or New York area for a limited period of time.
